Chocolate World

Before heading off to DC we went back to Hershey for the Chocolate World tour. They don't let you tour a real factory. Instead they have a Disneylandish ride with singing cows and fake production lines. The kids enjoyed it, but I was disappointed not to learn something new. Perhaps that would have happened during one of the extra $15/person sessions that were already sold out for the day. Oh well. The ride dumped us out in a gigantic Hershey's candy store. It was awesome. Rack after rack filled with every kind of Hershey's candy. We told the girls that they could each buy one "reasonable" item and they chose to share a giant Reese's Peanut Butter Cup package containing two half-pound peanut butter cups. (Reasonable?) Let's hope that the RV fridge doesn't fail. My treat was a dark chocolate milkshake that was honestly the best and richest I had ever tasted. They must have used an entire bottle of syrup for that one shake. Just what I needed. Mmmmm...... Fructose.
