Fabric World

Our second planned stop for the day was the PA Fabric Outlet near Harrisburg. Rachelle found lots of fabrics, buttons, and ribbons while I helped Keiko and Amaya build a 50-foot long chain out of several hundred 4" beaded keychain links that were for sale in a bin (out of sight of the clerk). Taking them apart wasn't quite as fun, but we had already sorted through 3 million buttons and this was the next best activity.

The most fun you can have in a fabric store

Rachelle may choose to substitute her own reality here...

After approximately 14 hours in the PA Fabric Outlet

All kidding aside, Rachelle was really happy after scoring lots of bargains (on top of a 30% discount). Strategically, I called for a Happiness Check at this moment.

Happiness Check: July 3, 5:00 PM
Keiko: 10
Amaya: 10
Rachelle: 10
Tom: 4 (for the cheap laugh, but 6.5 for real)

....and we were off to Washington, DC
